So I took my inspiration from the song House of the rising sun from The Animals. My piece is a book as shown below.

It deals with Egyptian mythology where the Sun God Ra is the king of the gods. Part of the mythology is that Ra has to travel down the river that connects the parts of the underworld each night before it can rise in the morning. And in the novel by Rick Riordan not only do the main characters travel down that path in the future instalments, but they also live in a mansion with other people with connections to Egyptian mythology. I don’t know.

It just made me really think about the Sun God Ra and I saw that connection. Also most of the gods have animal heads in Egyptian mythology and are closely related to animals as well. A symbol of Ra is a scarab beetle (of gold).
