Hearts of Sky and Stone
Once upon a time, there was a Princess of the skies. She was the radiance of beauty, and her smile could be felt brightly across worlds. The Princess of the skies was kind and generous, but most importantly, she was free. Held down by no restraints, her heart as pure and endless as her namesake. The people in her kingdom loved their princess, their ruler who had swept her kindness into every heart. During the day, the Princess would wander thekingdom, stopping to talk to anyone who crossed her path, calling them out by name. And at night, she would lay in her meadow and look up at theinky sky, falling into the solid arms of sleep. As time drewon, the Princess stayed good. Her heart and intentions were still as pure as snow. She continued to spend her days with her people, laughing and talking, but began to find herself drifting, the yearning for something growing. She began to retreat to her meadow at nightand not quite allow herself to be pulled into sleep. For the Princess now began to dream and pray for the one wish that had swirled around subconsciously in her mind for many moons-her eyes becoming heavy as she imagined a hand holding hers, two heartbeats perfect in time.
